Parent Coaching

Parent coaching is a specialized form of support and guidance designed to help parents navigate the challenges and complexities of raising children into young adulthood. It offers parents the tools and strategies needed to become more confident in their parenting roles. Parent Coaching is offered through Cambium Wellness, an independent coaching program supporting families navigating the treatment process.

Parent Group

Confluence offers parents the opportunity to connect with parents whose young adults are currently enrolled at Confluence. These biweekly video sessions are moderated by our parent coach. Sessions include educational topics, skills introduction and strategies focused on how best to support children engaged with treatment and how parents can build effective strategies to manage the complexities of this experience.

Family Program Visit

Confluence supports families being engaged in the treatment process from before admission through graduation. Parents are invited to visit the program during the young adult’s tenure at Confluence. Led by our parent coach, our visits seek to provide parents and participants structured time together. Parents use the visit as an opportunity to further work with the parent coach and to experience a day in the life at Confluence.

Treatment Planning

Our commitment to families starts before admission and continues past discharge. Confluence clinicians together with referring professionals work with participants and families to identify levels of support and care a participant may need moving forward to maintain treatment gains made at Confluence. Treatment planning seeks to identify supports needed and paths forward that will continue positive momentum.
